2. Not financial advice, and risk
Ticker Tape is a tool for organising and filtering what you read on X and YouTube. We are not a financial adviser, broker or investment firm, we are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and nothing on the website or in the extension is investment advice or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment.
Community scores, ratings, reviews, leaderboards and hit-or-miss grades are opinions submitted by users. They are not verified track records and they don't predict future performance. Posts and videos come from third parties whose views are their own.
Trading and investing, especially in leveraged products, options and crypto-assets, carries a high level of risk and can result in losing more than your original investment. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and get independent advice if you're unsure.
3. Trademarks and affiliation
Ticker Tape is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X Corp., Google LLC (including YouTube and Chrome), TradingView or Stripe.
X is a trademark of X Corp. YouTube, Google and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. TradingView is a trademark of TradingView, Inc. Other names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to describe what Ticker Tape works with.
The Ticker Tape name, logo and design are ours. Please don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.
4. Previews and sample data
Previews of the extension on this website use sample data and invented accounts, names, prices and posts. They show how Ticker Tape works and don't describe real people, real calls or real results.
5. Reporting content
If a review breaks our community rules, use Report on the review in the extension. If you believe a review is defamatory, infringes your rights or is unlawful, or you're the owner of an account that has been reviewed and want to raise something, email contact@tickertape.co.uk with:
- the account or channel and the review you mean;
- why you think it's unlawful or breaks the rules;
- your name and how to reach you.
We'll look at every report and act promptly where it's justified.
6. Copyright
If you think something on the website or in the service infringes your copyright, email contact@tickertape.co.uk with details of the work, where it appears, and a statement that you own the rights or are allowed to act for the owner. We'll remove material that infringes.
7. Reporting a security issue
If you find a security problem, please email contact@tickertape.co.uk with "Security" in the subject and give us a reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else. Don't access other people's data, disrupt the service or test against accounts that aren't yours. We're grateful for responsible reports.
8. Our other policies
- Terms of Use: the agreement for using Ticker Tape, including plans, cancelling and refunds.
- Privacy Policy: what we collect and your rights over it.
